Help! 2020 is BROKEN!
2020. WHAT. HAPPENED?
There was so much anticipation. So much expectation… and then the news of the pandemic hit and uncertainty of what this year would look like began to loom.
The 24-hour news cycle can be overwhelming and leads us to believe that our hope, along with the rest of 2020 is cancelled.
It would be easy to just float through the rest of the year, waiting for next year to be great, but it is just as easy to brush your shoulders off and choose to believe that 2020 is going to be the greatest year of your life. 2020 is not cancelled. It’s here and it’s yours for the taking.
Sometimes all we can see are our struggles, but, as we reset, God is asking us to see from a different perspective. Your fact may say that you’re in a trial, but the TRUTH says that God has already given you the victory. Your fact may say that you are alone, but the TRUTH says that God goes before you and is always with you. Your fact may say that a relationship is broken or that you’re having financial difficulties but the TRUTH says that you are in relationship with the ultimate Healer and Provider. We serve a God who takes every problem and unforeseen circumstance and turns it for good.
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.” - Romans 8:28 (TPT)
God never promised us that we wouldn't go through difficult times; He just promised that He would be with us, protecting and covering us and using it ALL for good. You can see difficulty as a roadblock, or you can see it as a moment for God to show Himself faithful and strong to you.
Friend, 2020 is yours for the taking. Dream Big! Love Deeply! Trust God! Take a hard look at the rest of the year, say “Happy New Year” to yourself, and start believing that the best is yet to come.
Jesus,
Your Word says in Isaiah 26:3 that with perfect peace You will protect those whose minds cannot be changed because they trust You. So today we choose to trust you, and we accept your peace and believe that good things are coming to us! In Jesus name.
